Job Description:

Test Associate Engineer will be a member of testing group for server side applications and will closely work with test engineers for the designated project.
Write/execute test cases under the direction of project/test team.
Develop utility scripts that will aid in analysis and/or automation of test cases.
Participate in, or work on, carrying out root-cause for anomalies identified during testing.
Log/update issues with detailed description and evidence, under the direction of test team.
Generate or prepare test status reports as required, under the direction of test team.

Job Requirements:

Hands-on experience with at least one programming language, preferably an OO one.
Knowledge of SQL to write basic database queries.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel etc.).
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Skills:

Knowledge of, or hands-on experience working on Unix systems.
